Whatsapp Business

Monitor WhatsApp bot status, view templates, and send test messages.

Whatsapp Business connects your restaurant to the FoodEase WhatsApp ordering bot. Check whether WhatsApp is active, view your dedicated bot number, browse message templates, and send test messages.

Who can use this page?

You need Edit Restaurant (CAN_EDIT_RESTAURANT) and Has Website enabled on Restaurant Info.

How to open Whatsapp Business

  1. Log in to FoodEase Office.
  2. In the sidebar, expand Restaurant Settings.
  3. Click Whatsapp Business.

WhatsApp status

The status badge compares your restaurant name against linked WhatsApp restaurants in FoodEase:

Contact FoodEase support if you need WhatsApp activated for your brand.

Send a test message

  1. Wait for templates to load (requires a valid Business ID on your restaurant).
  2. Select a template from the list.
  3. Enter a phone number (formatted with country code, e.g. +234…).
  4. Send the message.

You receive a success or error notification. Use tests sparingly — messages may count against your WhatsApp quota.

Link menu items

After WhatsApp is active, sync your catalog on Link Item so customers can browse and order products through the bot.
